It is with great pride that we announce Aimee Doyle as the Morris County Counselor of the Year for 2026. After 28 years of dedicated service as a Student Assistance Counselor at Parsippany High School, Aimee’s impact on her students, colleagues, and school community is immeasurable. Her unwavering compassion, calming presence, and steadfast advocacy have made her a trusted source of support for generations of students and staff alike.
Jennifer Hrobuchak of Parsippany High School shares:
“Aimee is retiring after 28 years as a SAC at Parsippany High School. She is an advocate for our students and they are quick to seek her out for support. As she says, ‘I have the best tissues.’ As her role has slightly shifted and she has become our HIB specialist, she still manages to be a calming and supportive counselor who always knows the right things to say.”
Aimee’s influence extends far beyond her office walls. Whether supporting students through difficult moments, guiding families, or assisting colleagues, she has consistently created a safe and welcoming space for everyone around her. Her warmth, wisdom, and ability to connect with others have made her an irreplaceable part of the Parsippany High School community.

“Staff also rely on her when they need someone to help support them professionally as well as personally. She has a positive effect on our building’s morale and is one of the most PHS-spirited staff members!”
Throughout her career, Aimee has embodied the very best qualities of the counseling profession: Compassion, Advocacy, Leadership, and Unwavering Dedication to student well-being. Her legacy will continue to be felt through the countless lives she has touched over nearly three decades of service.
