The Morris County Professional Counselor Association (MCPCA), affiliated with the New Jersey School Counselor Association (NJSCA), consists of school counselors serving in the public, private and parochial school sectors throughout Morris County.

The organization researches school counseling trends, conducts in-service programs for its members, maintains on-going communication with industry and higher education, sponsors scholarships and recognition programs for middle and high school students, and promotes quality counseling services throughout the county. The organization also advocates for the counseling profession on the local, county and state levels. The MCPCA sponsors the Caring Student of the Year recognition program and participates in selecting the Morris County Counselor of the Year.

General membership dinner meetings are sponsored by colleges and trade/technical schools and feature speakers on topics critical to the profession. Topics for meetings are chosen to appeal to counselors at all levels. Executive Board meetings are open to all members.
